The aim of this research is to determine the difference in learning achievement between male and female students in the Civics subject for class V students at the UPTD of SD Negeri Jangkar 1 Tanah Merah. And what factors influence the differences in learning achievement between male and female students in the PPKn subject for class V students at UPTD SD Negeri Jangkar 1 Tanah Merah. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The place where this research was carried out was UPTD SD Negeri Jangkar 1 Tanah Merah. The data used as a reference in this research were obtained from several sources including fifth grade students and in this research the sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The instruments in this research are observation and interview guidelines to assist researchers in carrying out their research process. The data collection techniques used by researchers in this research used observation, interview and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used in this research is interactive analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
