Abstract

Research on the condition of the nesting habitat of Chelonia mydas (green turtle) in Pangumbahan Beach, Ujung Genteng, South Sukabumi has been carried out. Data retrieval is done 6 times for 2 days, 27-28 November 2017 at 3 observation stations. The abiotic parameters measured include surface temperature and depth of 50 cm, surface humidity and depth of 50 cm, beach width, beach slope, and the size of sand grains. While the biotic parameters measured were density, relative density, the frequency of attendance, and distribution patterns of Pandanus tectorius (sea pandanus) vegetation. Based on the results of data processing, the biophysical conditions in Pangumbahan Beach are still suitable for the Chelonia mydas nesting habitat. It also got clear evidence of the many Chelonia mydas landings during the data collection.

Abstract

Questioning skills, which are identified as higher-order thinking skills, are needed nowadays. In reality, some of the students, including university students, still lacking in confidence to pose their questions. The teaching materials and method that can develop students' questioning skills, such as electronic modules which developed based on industrial revolution 4.0 and adjusted to students' demand as the millennial generation, are necessary. The electronic module integrates with STEM learning is the best way to solve the students' questioning skills problem. The research purpose is to develop a STEM-based E-module to investigate the development of students' questions quality. The research method used in this research are R&D with design ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation), while the E-Module are implemented to the students, the qualitative descriptive method is used. The instrument used to collect some data on this research are video transcription, application transcription, reading test, and questionnaire. This research has been conducted on 26 university students who took Science Environmental Technology and Social (SETS) course. Questions' quality rubrics are used to analyze the data. As a result of this research, the implementation of developed STEM-based E-Modules is achievable. After implementation, the result of the student's question quality in general, including both pojok inquiry and pojok eksplorasi activity, is attained. There are improvements shown from activity 1 and activity 2 on pojok inquiry activity but decreased in activity 3. As for pojok eksplorasi, students’ generated question quality is improved gradually. It can be concluded that students’ generated questions quality is slightly developed, which means that it is attained at the beginning of the open question category as higher-level quality. The novel finding of this research is the question’s quality from the lecturer might have some influence on the quality of students’ questions.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analytic method. The purpose of this study was to describe an analyze learning at SMALB Dharma Wanita Kota Bogor. This research was carried out from February 2019 to Juli 2019 with several informan namely Biology Teacher 1, Principal, Biology Teacher 2, Parents Of Students, Students and Curriculum. This research was conducted with direct contact with the subject of research foun in the field and obtained two types of data, namely primary data derived from interviews and observations, as well as secondary data derived from study documentation, based on data analysis, biology learning in to 3 processes, bamely planning, implementation and evaluation. Biology learning planning at SMALB Dharma Wanita, namely the teacher holding a work meeting ( in house training) discusses the completeness of the administration of the teacher and strategies or methods that will be used by the class. The implementation of biology learning at SMALB Dharma Wanita consists of introductory, core and concluding activities. Evaluation of learning in SMALB Dharma Wanita consists of cognitive, affektive and psychomotor.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar e-ensiklopedia keanekaragaman talas di Kabupaten Bogor untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap keberlanjutan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Juli 2021.  Populasi dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 4 Bogor kelas X MIPA  3 tahun akademik 2020/2021 sebanyak 35 orang siswa. Pelaksanaa uji coba lapangan hanya dilakukan secara terbatas menggunakan one group  posttest only design. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini terdiri dari lembar validasi ahli, instrument angket pengetahuan dan sikap keberlanjtan siswa dan lembar angket respon guru dan siswa terhadap e-ensiklopedia. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari analisis kelayakan bahan ajar dan analisis penilaian terhadap literasi digital siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa e-ensiklopedia yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai suplemen bahan ajar di kelas X MIPA 3 pada pembelajaran berdasarkan rata-rata nilai validasi ahli materi sebesar 85,41% dan rata-rata nilai validasi media sebesar 84,57% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Bahan ajar E-ensiklopedia memiliki keefektifan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa kelas X MIPA 3. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil posttest berupa angket yang diberikan siswa dengan persentase 81,05% untuk pengetahuan keberlanjutan siswa dengan kategori sangat tinggi dan 77,04% untuk sikap keberlanjutan siswa dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan angket guru dan siswa, sebesar 92,30% dan mendapatkan penilaian dari hasil angket siswa sebesar 89,63%.

Abstract

The research is aimed at describing human generic skill through demonstration method in the subject of living environment. It was conducted to 80 students from 2 classes of Primary School Teacher Training Department at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences at Pakuan University. The students’ generic skill was gained through an instrument which was an observational sheet when they did a group activity and was also gained through an individual written test. The research result shows that the students’ generic skill is “adequate. It can be seen from the mean score of the students’ generic skills both in group and also individually (73.06 % and 71.13%). The generic skill which was directly observed in group and individually can be categorized as “good” (78.90% and 74.20%), students’ skill in logical frame both in group and individually was “adequate” (67.23% and 68.56%), students’ skill in knowing cause and effect of a problem in group activity was “adequate” (70.45%) while individually was “good” (77.11%), students’ skill in modeling in group activity was “good” (75,70%) while individually was “adequate” (56.90%), and inference skill of the students in both group and individually was “adequate” (73.06% and 71.13%). Students’ response through the learning activity using demonstration method was positive. The learning using demonstration method is advantageous for the students since it can help them learn living environment. Therefore, it is recommended to apply the method in living environmental education class.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pembelajaran biologi berbasis multiple intellegence di SMA Inklusi School of Human Jatisampurna Bekasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Januari – Juli 2018 dengan beberapa informan yaitu guru biologi, direktur sekolah, principal sekolah, kepala sekolah, kepala kurikulum, kepala ruang inklusi, buddy, siswa dan orang tua siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik terhadap subjek penelitian yang ada di lapangan dan diperoleh data yang berasal dari wawancara dan observasi, serta data dari studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data yag dilakukan melalui analisis antar situs dan dalam situs, pembelajaran biologi berbasis multiple intellegence dibagi menjadi 3 proses diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan pembelajaran dimulai dengan siswa melakukan tes MIR (multiple intellegence research) untuk melihat dominansi kecerdasan siswa. Kompetensi inti mengacu pada main subject yaitu character building, creativity, enterpreneur, dan problem solving. Aktivitas pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan saintifik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru menggunakan multistrategi mengajar dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran. Evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian autentik terdiri dari afektif sikap, kognitif pengetahuan, psikomotorik keterampilan dengan laporan perkembangan siswa berupa raport portopolio yang berisi perkembangan character building, creativity, enterpreneur, dan problem solving. Pembelajaran berbasis multiple intellegence menyebabkan gaya mengajar guru sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka mempunyai tiga karakteristik utama yaitu: 1). Pengembangan kemampuan non-teknis (soft skills); 2). Berfokus pada materi esensial; 3) Memberikan fleksibilitas bagi guru. Science Kits berupa seperangkat alat/komponen yang ditempatkan dalam suatu tempat tertentu berfungsi sebagai alat peraga IPA. Dalam penggunaannya, biasanya alat-alat tersebut dirakit terlebih dahulu. Basic science kits merupakan alat peraga IPA ini berfungsi untuk menghadirkan suatu kejadian alam di dalam kelas selama pembelajaran IPA. Alat peraga IPA sangat diperlukan karena dengan alat peraga IPA siswa tidak harus keluar kelas, kejadian alam dapat diamati berulang-ulang, dan kejadian tersebut dapat diamati setiap saat. Maka kegiatan PkM ini berupa memberdayakan guru SD dalam menggunakan science kits di dalam kurikulum Merdeka sehingga tujuan dari pembelajaran IPA dapat tercapai. Solusinya dengan melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan guru dalam menggunakan science kits dan mengimplementasikannya di dalam kurikulum Merdeka. Metode ini dilengkapi dengan teknik learning by doing. Proses pelatihan dilakukan dengan demonstrasi dan diskusi interaktif. Sedangkan proses pendampingan dilakukan dengan tehnik guide inquiry (inkuiri terbimbing) dengan metode praktikum. Manfaat yang diperoleh oleh guru-guru IPA yang mengikuti kegaitan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat pendampingan guru dalam implementasi basic science kits pada kurikulum merdeka belajar karena menambah wawasan dan pengalaman dalam melaksanakan praktikum dengan menggunakan basic science kits. Mengatasi kesulitan guru dalam keterampilan menggunakan alat-alat praktikum pada basic science kits. Serta guru- guru dapat mengajarkan siswanya pengalaman praktikum dengan menggunakan basic science kits.
