Abstract

ABSTRAKUU Jaminan produk Halal (UU No.33 Tahun 2014) telah diundangkan pada 17 Oktober 2014, namun implementasinya kurang begitu lancar. Sertifikasi halal bagi produk farmasi dihadapkan dengan beberapa faktor pengambat seperti kurangnya pemasok bahan baku yang memenuhi persyaratan halal dan kendala manajemen halal di Industri Farmasi Indonesia. Namun bagaimanapun, memperoleh dan menggunakan obat halal bagi setiap muslim adalah hak yang dijamin konstitusi. Tulisan ini berupaya untuk memberikan gambaran implementasi UU JPH dalam pemenuhan produk obat halal yang beredar dan diperdagangkan di Indonesi. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan mengumpulkan literatur yang berkaitan dengan implementasi UU No. 33 Tahun 2014 dalam perkembangan obat halal di Indoensia dan membuat ringkasan dari literatur-literatur tersebut. Hasil review menunjukkan perlu adanya upaya bersama antara farmasis dan pihak terkait untuk merampungkan kajian sistem manajemen halal dengan pendekatan sistematik dan ilmiah untuk memproduksi obat halal yang sesuai dengan syariat islam.Kata Kunci : Halal, Obat, Farmasi, Implementasi, Jaminan Produk HalalABSTRACTThe Halal Product Warranty (Jaminan Produk Halal/ JPH) regulation (UU No.33 of 2014) has been released on October 17, 2014, but the implementation is not completely fulfilled. Halal certification for pharmaceutical products is confronted with several constraining factors such as the lack of raw material suppliers that meet halal requirements and halal management constraints in the Indonesian Pharmaceutical Industry. However, obtaining and using halal medicine for every Muslim is a guaranteed right of the constitution. This paper aims to provide an overview of the implementation of UU JPH in the recruitment of halal drug products that are circulated and traded in Indonesia. The method used is to collect literature related to the implementation of UU no. 33 of 2014 in the development of halal medicine in Indonesia and make a summary of the literature. The results show that review indicate the pharmacist and related parties participation is needed to finalize the review of halal management system with systematic and scientific approach to produce halal medicine in accordance with Islamic Shari'a.Keyword: Halal, Drugs, Pharmaceuticals, Implementation, Halal Product Warranty
