<![CDATA[AbstrakArtikel berjudul Novel The Da Vinci Code: Pertarungan Simbolik Dan Brown dalam Arena Sastra Amerika membahas praktik bersastra Dan Brown dalam arena sastra Amerika. Penulis ini telah banyak menghasilkan karya, tetapi yang fenomenal adalah The Da Vinci Code (2003). Dia mulai bersastra sejak tahun 1997 sampai 2017. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memaparkan pandangan-pandangan dan pertarungan simbolik Dan Brown untuk mendapat legitimasi dari pertarungan sastra Amerika. Adapun teori yang digunakan adalah teori Arena Produksi Kultural Pierre Bourdieu. Penelitian ini menggunakan permasalahan strategi yang harus dilakukan Dan Brown untuk mencapai keinginannya. Sebagai pengarang, penghargaan yang bergensi tetap menjadi idaman bagi mereka.
