Abstract

The research with the tittle Of the eggs age and weight toward the crack capacity percentage of Arab chiken, have a purpase to know about how the egg age and weight influence the crack capacity percentage og Arab chiken. The research have dove by using RAL = Rancangan Acak Lengkap or Randoom Complete Program, witch is part of two factors. Teh first is the eggs age tghat divide in 4 groups Such as: U1 (the age 1 - 2 days), U2 (age 3 - 4 days), U3 (the eggs age 5 - 6 days), U4 (age 7 - 8 days). The second factor is the eggs weight with 4 groups, such as; B1(weight 30 - 35 gr/egg), B2 (weight 36 - 41 gr/egg), B3 (weight 42 - 47 gr/egg) and group B4 (weight of egg up to 48 gr/egg). For earc research group have done repeatedly four times and each research use 4 eggs, so the amount og eggs aree 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 are 256 eggs. The results of research show that the highest crack capacity was 85,94% and the lowest was in the treatment U4 (54,69%). In the weight egg factor, the highest crack capacity was in the treatment B3 with capacity 87,50% and the lowest was in treatment B1 (54,69%). The interaction betwen egg and weight og egg show that the highest crack capacity was in U1B3 (100%); the lowest was U3B1 and U4B1 (37,5%). The result of this research show thet the rate of crack capacity was influenced by the both of factors (egg dan weight), through analysis of gence investiagtion (P
