Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan komunikasi mengarah ke teknologi berbasis jaringan Internet Protocol (IP). Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) merupakan komunikasi suara jarak jauh melalui IP. VoIP tersebut dapat diimplementasikan dengan Trixbox sebagai server VoIP-nya. IP Multimedia Subsystem  (IMS) sebagai framework baru telekomunikasi yang mendukung layanan telekomunikasi berbasis IP disimulasikan oleh Open IMS Core menjadi server VoIP. Baik server Trixbox maupun Open IMS Core memiliki keunggulan masing-masing. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian kedua server untuk layanan voice-nya. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membangun kedua server diimplementasikan menggunakan jaringan wireless LAN. Selanjutnya melakukan analisis QoS yaitu jitter, delay dan packet loss yang dihasilkan dari panggilan tiap client. Hasil pengujian server Trixbox diketahui rata-rata jitter 9,918 ms, rata-rata delay 4,012 ms dan rata-rata packet loss 0%. Untuk server Open IMS Core diketahui rata-rata jitter 29,934 ms, rata-rata delay 10,034 ms dan rata-rata packet loss 0%. Secara keseluruhan, server trixbox memiliki performansi lebih baik dari server Open IMS Core.   Kata kunci: VoIP, Trixbox, Open IMS Core, QoS Abstract Leading to the development of technology-based communication network Internet Protocol (IP).
