<![CDATA[ABSTRAKPerancangan ini dilatarbelakangipelestarian salah satu kebudayaan Madiun yaitu kesenian Dongkrek dan pengembangan motif batik khas Madiun karena adanya keinginan konsumen akan motif batik baru selain batik Kenongo dan Pecelan. Tujuan Tugas Akhir perancangan ini adalah menghasilkan inovasi motif baru yang dapat mewakili kesenian khas Madiun sekaligus memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen. Sumber ide yang diambil yaitu property Dongkrek berupa topeng sebagai karakter utama dan batik khas Madiun sebagai motif pendukung. Hasil perancangan ini dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal: (1) Dengan mengakat sumber ide kesenian Dongkrek, perancangan ini menghasilkan 8 desain dengan motif utama property Dongkrek dan motif batik khas Madiun sebagai motif pendukung. (2) dari 8 desain divisualkan 3 produk dengan bahan dobby, katun sutera dan katun paris masing-masing ukuran 115cm x 200cm menggunakan teknik batik tulis dengan zat warna remasol.Kata Kunci : Batik, Dongkrek,Kenongo, Pecelan ABSTRACTThis design is backgrounded by the preservation of a product of culture from Madiun namely Dongkrek art and the development of typical Madiun batik motifs due to the desire of consumers for new batik motifs besides Kenongo and Pecelan batik. The aim of this final project is to produce an innovation of new motif that is able to represent the distinctive art of Madiun while meeting the needs of the consumers. The source of the taken idea was originated from Dongkrek property in the form of a mask as the main character and the typical Madiun batik as a supporting motif. From the results of this design several things can be concluded: (1) By bringing up the source of Dongkrek art ideas, this design produces 8 designs with the main motif from the Dongkrek property and the typical Madiun batik motif as supporting motifs. (2) Out of 8 designs, 3 of them were visualized using dobby materials, silk cotton and paris cotton, each in size of 115cm x 200cm using batik techniques with remazol dyes.Keywords: Batik, Dongkrek, Kenongo, Pecelan]]>
