Efektivitas Penggunaan Aluminium Foil Terhadap Perubahan Suhu Cairan Ringer Laktat 390C pada Paparan Suhu 250C (Sebagai Upaya Mempertahankan Suhu Cairan yang akan Diberikan pada Pasien Syok)

Abstract

Trias of death merupakan komplikasi antara asidosis, hipotermia, dan koagulopati yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya kematian pada syok hemoragik Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya penanganan yang tepat berupa pemberian resusitasi cairan hangat 390C melalui intravena. Untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan aluminium foil terhadap perubahan suhu cairan ringer laktat 39oC pada paparan suhu 25oC. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pra eksperimen dengan desain intact group comparison, dengan 4 buah botol cairan ringer laktat yang terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan dihangatkan sampai 390C, dan diukur penurunan suhunya selama 25 menit. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil statistik menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000. Dengan nilai (p-value 0,000 < α=0,05), dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada perubahan suhu antara ringer laktat yang tidak dilapisi aluminium foil dengan ringer laktat yang dilapisi aluminium foil. Masing-masing nilai penurunan suhu yaitu untuk ringer laktat yang tidak dilapisi aluminium foil sebesar 3,10C sedangkan ringer laktat yang dilapisi aluminium foil sebesar 2,50C. Perubahan suhu cairan ringer laktat yang dilapisi dengan aluminium foil yang dialirkan selama 25 menit hanya terjadi penurunan suhu sebesar 2,50C dikarenakan aluminium foil merupakan insulator termal yang mampu menjaga serta menahan panas. Perlu dilakukan penelitian kembali terkait penggunaan aluminium foil dengan jumlah lapisan yang berbeda ataupun jenis yang berbeda. Trias of death is a complication between acidosis, hypothermia, and coagulopathy which causes death in hemorrhagic shock. Therefore, it is necessary to take appropriate treatment such as giving 390C warm fluid resuscitation intravenously. This study analyzed the effectiveness of the use of aluminium foil on temperature changes of 390C ringer lactate at the  exposure of 250C temperature. This study used a pre-experimental method with intact group comparison design, with 4 fluids ringer lactate which was divided into two groups, the control group and the experiment group were warmed up to 390C, and the temperature drop was measured for 25 minutes. Data were analyzed using the Mann Whitney test. Statistical results using the Mann-Whitney test, obtained a p-value of 0,000. With the value (p-value 0,000 <α = 0.05), it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in temperature changes between the ringer lactate that were not coated with aluminum foil and the ringer lactate that were coated with aluminum foil. Total temperature drop for each group were 3,10C for ringer lactate that were not coated with aluminium foil, and 2,50C for ringer lactate that were coated with aluminium foil. The temperature changes of aluminium foil coated ringer lactate which flowed for 25 minutes were only 2,50C, this happened because aluminium foil is a thermal insolator that is able to maintain and prevent heat loss. More research about the use of aluminum foil needs to be done with more or different types of layers.
