<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh manajemen persediaan yang memiliki arti penting dalam perusahaan untuk menunjang kelancaran proses produksi. Hasil peneitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengendalian persediaan di PT. Nusantara Berlian Motor masih belum optimal yang disebabkan kebijakan manajemen yang masih menggunakan ilmu perkiraan atau belum ada pencatatan secara rinci serta belum ada perencanaan dalam pengendalian persediaan. Pada pehitungan ROP (Re-Order Point) pada perusahaan adalah sebanyak 780 unit. Perbedaan kebijakan persediaan yang telah diterapkan sebelumnya pada perusahaan yaitu tidak mencatat secara pasti kapan harus mengadakan pemesanan kembali. Tetapi menurut metode EOQ perusahaan harus melakukan pemesanan ulang kembali saat persediaan tinggal 780 unit agar kegiatan jual beli tidak terhambat. Maka dengan demikian ROP (Re-Order Point) dapat menjadi penentu untuk kelancaran proses jual beli.AbstractThis research is motivated by inventory management which has an important meaning in the company to support the smooth production process. The results showed that the inventory control system at PT. Nusantara Berlian Motor is still not optimal due to management policies that still use the science of estimation or there is no detailed recording and there is no proven planning in controlling inventory. In the calculation of ROP (Re-Order Points) in the company is 780 units. Differences in inventory policies that have been previously applied to the company that is not recording exactly when to reorder. But according to the EOQ method the company must reorder when there are only 780 units left so that the buying and selling activities are not hampered. So thus the ROP (Re-Order Point) can be a determinant for the smooth buying and selling process.]]>
