<![CDATA[ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang peningkatan keterampilan generik sains siswa sebagai akibat dari penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing. Metode yang digunakan adalah pra eksperimen dengan "satu kelompok desain pretest - posttest" yang diberikan kepada 32 siswa dari kelas 8 dari siswa SMP di Sungailiat Bangka Belitung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah model implementasi lembar observasi, hasil tes keterampilan generik sains dalam bentuk tipe pilihan ganda tes tertulis terkait dengan konsep pembiasan cahaya, dan respon angket guru dan siswa tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dapat meningkatkan keterampilan generik sains. Rata-rata gain yang dinormalisasi adalah 0,33 (kategori menengah). Rata-rata tertinggi dari normalisasi gain kelas eksperimen g dalam pengamatan langsung dari indikator di 0,38, dan indikator yang konsisten kerangka logis dari 0,34. Sementara indikator simbolik bahasa di 0,31, dan kesadaran indikator skala 0,28, dan pemodelan matematika indikatornya adalah 0,25. Hasil analisis data kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa hampir semua siswa memberikan umpan balik untuk menyetujui penerapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of generic science skills’s enhancement students as a result of the application of guided inquiry learning. The method used was pre experiment with “one group pretest-posttest design†that was administered to 32 students from 8th grade of junior high school student in Sungailiat Bangka Belitung. The research instrument used were implementation model observation sheet, the test result of generic science skills in the form of multiple choice type written test related to the concept of light refraction, and questionnaire respons of teachers and students about implementation of learning. The results showed that guided inquiry learning can enhance the generic science skills. The average of normalized gain is 0.33 (intermediate category). The highest average of normalized gain experiment class g in direct observation of the indicator at 0.38, and the logical framework consistent indicator of 0.34. While the symbolic language indicator at 0.31, and the awareness of the indicators of the scale of 0.28, and the mathematical modeling of the indicator is 0.25. The results of the questionnaire data analysis showed that almost all students provide feedback to agree to the application of guided inquiry learning.]]>
