ABSTRAK Pada Bulan Januari 2020 kasus demam berdarah di Kabupaten Sikka Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur sebanyak 171 orang, meningkat lebih dari dua kali dibandingkan Januari 2019 sebanyak 65 orang, sehingga ditetapkan kejadian luar biasa (KLB) demam berdarah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepadatan dan preferensi habitat perkembangbiakan Aedes aegypti. pada wilayah KLB DBD. Lokasi penelitian di wilayah Puskesmas kasus tinggi demam berdarah yaitu Puskesmas Magepanda, tepatnya di Desa Reroroja dan Kolisia B. Sampael larva diambil dari berbagai penampungan air yang ada di luar dan di dalam rumah, kemudian dilakukan pencidukan larva dan diidentifikasi sepesiesnya, serta dianalisis kepadatanya dan diidentifikasi karakteristik habitatnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepadatan Aedes aegypti yaitu ABJ sebesar 74%, HI sebesar 26%, CI sebesar 15,7% dan BI sebesar 30. Habitat perkembangbiakan Aedes sp. lebih banyak ditemukan di luar rumah sebesar 55,2% di Desa Reroroja dan 54,8% di Desa Kolisia B. Bak mandi, bak WC dan ember menjadi habitat utama di Desa Reroroja, sedangkan di Desa Kolisia B habitat utamanya adalah drum dan ember. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah pengendalian vektor secara dini pada tingkat larva merupakan titik kritis keberhasilan program pengendalian vektor DBD di Kabupaten Sikka.Kata kunci: Kepadatan, habitat, Aedes aegypti dan Kabupaten Sikka ABSTRACTThe cases of dengue haemorragic fever in Sikka Regency of East Nusa Tenggara Province was increase in January 2020. The number of infected people were 171 people, increased more than twice compared to 65 people in January 2019. Therefore, Sikka Regency declared this sitiation as an Outbreak. This study aims to analyze the density and habitat preferention of Aedes aegypti at the time and area of the outbreak dengue. The location of the research were in the area of high cases of Dengue Haemorragic Fever in the Reroroja and Kolisia B villages, the working area of Magepanda Health Centre. Larvae’s sample were taken from various water reservoirs, both from outside and inside by capturing and identifying the sepesies and analyzed the characteristic of the habitat. The results shows that the density of Aedes aegypti namely FLI/ABJ = 74%, HI = 26%, CI = 15.7% and BI by = 30. Aedes sp. were found more at the outside by 55.2% in Reroroja Village and 54.8% in Kolisia B Village. Bathroom and toilet water tubs and bucket are the main habitat found in Reroroja Village, while in Kolisia B Village the main habitat are drums and buckets. The result of the research suggests to perform early vector control at larval level as a critical point for the successfullness of the Dengue Haemorragic Fever’s vector control program in Sikka Regency.Keywords: Density, habitat, Aedes aegypti and Sikka Regency
