Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji relasi kuasa terhadap terduga PKI yang tedapat dalam cerpen Made Jepun(MJ) karya Putu Oka Sukanta (POS) dan Seonggok Daging Beku (SDB) karya Putu Fajar Arcana(PFA) serta hal-hal yang memengaruhi relasi kuasa tersebut, seperti wacana yang dibentuk danhubungan antartokoh dalam cerita. Cerita yang diangkat sama-sama menceritakan tentang peristiwapasca ’65 yang dialami oleh keluarga, bahkan tetangga para terduga PKI di Bali. Penelitian inidilakukan menggunakan teori relasi kuasa yang digagas Michel Foucault. Data dalam penelitian inididapatkan melalui metode studi pustaka dengan teknik baca-catat. Sumber data yang digunakanadalah karya sastra dan data yang didapat berupa unit-unit teks yang menggambarkan adanya relasikuasa. Data yang didapat dianalisis dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa relasi kuasa yang hadir mengakibatkan adanya kontrol dan dominasi tidak hanya kepadasimpatisan PKI saja, melainkan juga menimpa keluarga dan para tetangga mereka. Bentuk relasikuasa yang muncul adalah stigmatisasi, objektifikasi, kontrol, dominasi, dan manipulasi yang hadirmelalui pelabelan bahwa PKI adalah ideologi terlarang, pemenjaraan tokoh, pengucilan yang dialamitokoh, tuduhan tanpa bukti, hingga pemerkosaan.Kata Kunci: relasi kuasa, Michel Foucault, terduga PKI  AbstractThis research examines the power relations between the PKI suspects found in the shortstories “Made Jepun” (MJ) by Putu Oka Sukanta (POS) and “Seonggok Daging Beku” (SDB) by Putu Fajar Arcana (PFA) as well as other things that influence these power relations, suchas discourse. formed and the relationships between the characters in the story. Both storiestell of the post ’65 events experienced by families, even neighbors of PKI suspects in Bali.This research was conducted using the theory of power relations proposed by Michel Foucault.The data in this study were obtained through the literature study method with the readingnote technique. Sources of data used are literary works and the data obtained are in the formof text units that describe the existence of power relations. The data obtained were analyzedusing descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed that the power relations that werepresent resulted in control and domination not only of PKI sympathizers but also to theirfamilies and neighbors. The forms of power relations that emerge are stigmatization,objectification, control, domination, and manipulation that are present through the labelingthat the PKI is a forbidden ideology, imprisonment of figures, exclusion experienced by figures,accusations without evidence, to rape.Keywords: power relation, Michel Foucault, PKI suspect
