<![CDATA[ABSTRAKInternet of things atau IOT ialah suatu jaringan yang menghubungan antar objek secara terbuka dan komprehensif yang digunakan untuk mengatur, membagikan informasi dan data secara otomatis serta merespon suatu situasi dan perubahan pada lingkungan. Tujuan kajian review artikel ini untuk membahas mengenai Internet of Things dari segi pemahaman dasar, menjelaskan komponen penyusun Internet of Things, dan penerapannya dalam manufaktur industri farmasi. Metode penulisan review artikel ini yaitu studi literatur dengan artikel ilmiah yang dicari di search engine ScienceDirect dan google scholar dengan keyword “Internet of Thing in Manufacturing”, dan “Internet of Thing in Pharmaceutical Industry”. Dari pengkajian review artikel ini diketahui Terdapat tiga teknologi vital pada IoT yaitu Radio-frequency Identification (RFID), Wireless sensor Network (WSN) dan Cloud computing. IoT yang diterapkan dalam manufaktur industri farmasi dapat membantu menghubungkan tiap komponen yang dibutuhkan dalam proses manufaktur sehingga proses manufaktur dapat berjalan secara efisien, peningkatan kualitas produk, memudahkan dalam perawatan mesin serta penggunaan energi yang lebih efisien.ABSTRACTInternet of things or IoT is a network that connects objects in an open and comprehensive manner that is used to organize, share information and data automatically and respond to situations and changes in the environment. The method of writing this article review is a literature study with scientific articles searched on the search engine ScienceDirect and google scientist with the keywords "Internet of Thing in Manufacturing", and "Internet of Thing in Pharmaceutical Industry".
