<![CDATA[ABSTRACT – In the recently period of the technology , Multimedia is one of the accurate way to water down to deliver the information in the form of audio or visual. One of applying multimedia is to visualizing the profile video. Junior High School 4 of Polokarto Sukoharjo is one of government agencies engaged in education has not owned the medium to promote and informated   school development to society. By using profile video it is expected as a means of promotion and information to society as well as documentation The pattern problem of this research is how to make the video of profile of Junior High School 4 of Polokarto Sukoharjo by using computer multimedia. This research is limited to make the profile video of Junior High School 4 of Polokarto Sukoharjo by using computer multimedia . The purpose of this research is to produce the provile video and medium information about Junior High School 4 of Polokarto Sukoharjo. The advantage from this research can be used as media of promotion , information and documentation about Junior High School 4 of Polokarto Sukoharjo. Research Methodologies using observation, bibliography , interviewing, analyzing, scheming, intake drawing and capturing, editing and voice recording, test-drive and implementation. The result of the research is the making profile video of Junior High School 4 of Polokarto Sukoharjo which is expectedas the research can be used as media of promotion , information and documentation Keyword : Profile Video, Multimedia  ABSTRAK – Di masa teknologi sekarang ini multimedia merupakan salah satu cara yang tepat untuk mempermudah menyampaikan informasi dalam bentuk audio ataupun visual. salah satu penerapan multimedia adalah untuk menvisualisasikan video profil. Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Polokarto Sukoharjo salah satu instansi pemerintahan yang bergerak dibidang pendidikan belum memiliki sarana untuk mempromosikan dan menginformasikan perkembangan sekolah kepada masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan video profil diharapkan dapat sebagai alat promosi dan informasi kepada masyarakat sekaligus sebagai dokumentasi. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana membuat video profil Sekolah Menengah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Polokarto dengan menggunakan komputer multimedia. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada pembuatan video profil di SMP N 4 Polokarto Sukoharjo dengan menggunakan komputer multimedia. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan video profil dan media informasi tentang Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Polokarto Sukoharjo. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah digunakan sebagai media promosi dan informasi serta dokumentasi tentang Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Polokarto Sukoharjo. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, kepustakaan, wawancara, Analisis, Perancangan video profil, Pengambilan gambar, Editing dan Implementasi Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah video profil Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 4 Polokarto Sukoharjo diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai sarana promosi , informasi dan dokumentasi.
