<![CDATA[Libraries as public information institutions are very important. A library material in a library must be processed first to facilitate the information retrieval system. One of the management of library materials, which is the focus of this research is the cataloging process, especially the cataloging carried out by the Cimahi City Public Library. This is of course done to review more deeply the steps or procedures carried out by the Cimahi City Public Library in cataloging. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method so that the steps in data collection carried out by the author are by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. Samples or informants were taken from the librarian of the Cimahi City Public Library itself. The results showed that the cataloging process at the Cimahi City Public Library was by the standards and was carried out very well. So that the information retrieval system in the library is very easy to do.]]>
