<![CDATA[ AbstrakTulisan ini mengkaji tentang sejarah dari penulisan hadis di Mesir, mengingat daerah tersebut merupakan salah satu bagian Afrika Utara yang menjadi salah satu pusat kajian hadis, sehingga penting untuk mengkaji mengenai perkembangan hadis. Artikle ini termasuk dalam library research atau penelitian kepustakaan, melihat sumber- sumber utama berdasarkan kitab dari salah satu hasil ulama di Mesir, yaitu Musnad At- Thahawi. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan historis- analisis untuk kemudian mengetahui berbagai peristiwa yang menjadi indikasi dari penyebaran hadis di Mesir. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwasannya;pertama, Perkembangan penulisan hadis di Mesir berkaitan erat dengan sejarah perkembangan islam itu sendiri, termasuk periodesasi- periodesasi hadis. Kedua, Karya Imam ath- Thahawi yang berjudul Musnad Imam At- Thahawi, merupakan wujud dari salah satu corak perkembangan hadis di abad ke 3 Hijriah, dimana system penulisan hadis salah satunya dalam bentuk musnad.Kata Kunci: Mesir; Hadis; Musnad at-Thahawi AbstractThis paper examines the history of hadith writing in Egypt, considering that the area is one of the parts of North Africa, one of the centers of hadith studies, so it is important to study the development of hadith. This article is included in library research, looking at the main sources based on books from one of the scholars in Egypt, namely Musnad At-Tahawi. The author uses a historical-analytic approach to find out the various events that are an indication of the spread of hadith in Egypt. The results of this study are; first, the development of hadith writing in Egypt is closely related to the history of the development of Islam itself, including the periodization of hadith. Second, the work of Imam ath-Tahawi, entitled Musnad Imam At-Tahawi, is a manifestation of one of the patterns of hadith development in the 3rd century Hijri, where the hadith writing system is one of them in the form of a Musnad.Keywords: Egypt; Hadith; Musnad at- Thahawi. ]]>
