INFLUENCE OF THE COMPENSATION BY THE COMPANY GIVING SATISFACTION TO EMPLOYEE MORALE IN TPKS (PENGARUH KEPUASAN PEMBERIAN KOMPENSASI OLEH PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP SEMANGAT KERJA KARYAWAN DI TPKS)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan pemberian kompensasi oleh perusahaan terhadap semangat kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, dengan mengambil populasi karyawan divisi terminal dan operasi lapangan yang berjumlah 42 karyawan. Kepuasan pemberian kompensasi diukur dengan skala kepuasan pemberian kompensasi. Item yang valid memiliki p<0,05 yaitu pada rentang signifikansi 0,000-0,010. Koefisien reliabilitasnya sebesar 0,891. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan pemberian kompensasi tergolong dalam kriteria rendah dengan persentase 47,6 %, Kepuasan pemberian kompensasi ditinjau dari tiap aspek kepuasan pemberian kompensasi yang tertinggi hingga rendah yaitu pekerjaan itu sendiri, imbalan tidak langsung, lingkungan pekerjaan dan imbalan langsung. Semangat kerja karyawan sebagian besar karyawan berada pada kriteria sedang, yaitu 45,3 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai koefisien r = 0,611 dengan signifikansi atau p = 0,000. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan pengaruh kepuasan pemberian kompensasi terhadap semangat kerja dengan R Square sebesar 37,3%. This research aims to know the influence of the satisfaction of giving compensation by the company to employee morale. This research is quantitative correlational with took population amount to 42 employees. Awarding compensation satisfaction is measured by the satisfaction of giving compensation scale. The valid items has p<0,05 at the significance range are from 0,000 to 0,010. This scale have reliability coefficient of 0,891. The results showed that variable compensation satisfaction belonging to the low criteria with the percentage of 47,6 %. Compensation satisfaction reviewed from each aspects, from the highest until lowest are the work itself, indirect remuneration, work environment and direct remuneration. The criteria of employe morale is average that is 45,3%. The results show r coefficient = 0,611 with significance or p = 0,000. This research results show the influence of the satisfaction of giving compensation to the spirit of the work with the R square of 37,3%.
