<![CDATA[Abstrak Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesesuaian tahap mengamati dengan berdasarkan pendekatan Saintifik pada buku teks matematika SMP kelas VII semester II kurikulum 2013 penerbit Kemendikbud edisi revisi 2017 pada materi Segiempat dan Segitiga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif ini akan terungkap gambaran mengenai realitas social, presepsi sasaran penelitian dan peneliti akan berusaha memahami dan mendeskripsikan yang akan di analisis. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu buku teks matematika SMP kelas VII semester II kurikulum 2013 penerbit Kemendikbud edisi revisi 2017. Instrumen yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen yang sesuai dengan metode pengumpulan data penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi secara langsung pada buku teks matematika SMP kelas VII semester 2 terbitan Kemendikbud 2013 edisi revisi 2017. Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan bahwa kesesuaian tahap mengamati dengan berdasarkan pendekatan Saintifik pada buku teks matematika materi aritmatika sosial yang ditinjau oleh peneliti yaitu memperoleh rata-rata persentase akhir 91% sedangkan oleh pengamat rata-rata persentase akhir 92% dengan kriteria sangat sesuai, sehingga hasil nilai Uji Kappa yaitu 1,000 dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata kunci : Analisis, Buku Teks Matematika, Kesesuaian, Pendekatan SaintifikAbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze the suitability of the observing stage based on the scientific approach in the mathematics textbook of SMP class VII semester II of the 2013 curriculum of the Ministry of Education and Culture publisher's 2017 revised edition on Quadrilateral and Triangles material. The type of research used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Through this qualitative approach, a picture of social reality will be revealed, the perceptions of the research target and the researcher will try to understand and describe what will be analyzed. The subjects in this study were mathematics textbooks for SMP class VII semester II curriculum 2013, the Ministry of Education and Culture publisher's 2017 revised edition. The instrument used in this study is an instrument that is in accordance with the research data collection method using direct documentation techniques in the mathematics textbook of class VII Junior High School. semester 2 published by the Ministry of Education and Culture 2013 revised edition 2017.
