<![CDATA[Introduction: The period of pregnancy and childbirth is a period of life full of potential stress (Sarwono, 2005). A woman in the period of pregnancy and childbirth (postpartum) tends to experience considerable stress due to limited physical conditions that make her have to limit activities in the process of psychological adaptation. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between early pregnancy and the incidence of postpartum blues. Research Methods: This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study were postpartum mothers on days 6-14 at PMB CH Malla. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The type of data in this study is primary data. Results: This study used primary data taken directly at PMB CH Malla. This study used purposive sampling with a total sample of 90 . Respondents. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between early pregnancy and the incidence of postpartum blues, the external variable that is associated with the incidence of postpartum blues is labor induction, early pregnancy <20 years increases the risk 4.0 times for experiencing postpartum blues]]>
