Introduction : Traffic accidents are one of the factors of death that cause conditions that endanger human lives. First aid measures that are carried out properly will reduce disability or suffering to save the victim from death. Self-efficacy is related to a person's level of knowledge. If someone does not have sufficient knowledge in solving a problem, then that person tends to avoid the problem. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge with self-efficacy in first aid of traffic accident. Methode: This study used an analytical survey method with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at SMA Adabiyah Palembang on 5-26 Sept 2022. The sample in the study was students at SMA Adabiyah Palembang with totaling 54 respondents who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Results: The data showed that most of the respondents had low self-efficacy, namely 30 respondents (55.6%) and the level of knowledge in the less category was 26 respondents (48.1%). Chi Square test results obtained p value = 0.022, which means that there is a significant relationship between knowledge and self-efficacy in traffic accident first aid. Conclusion : The better a person's level of knowledge about traffic accident first aid, the higher a person's self-efficacy in carrying out first aid in traffic accidents, so as to prevent death rates in traffic accident victims.
