<![CDATA[Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting and social development of pre-school children in Muslimat NU Khadijah III Kindergarten. Methods: This study uses a correlation with a retrospective approach. The population of all parents of pre-school age children was 48 parents. Using Purposive Sampling Technique. A sample of 25 respondents fit the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The independent variable was parenting style and the dependent variable was the social development of pre-school children. Statistical test using contingency coefficient with significance = 0.05. Results: The results of this study were obtained from 25 respondents, 10 respondents (40%) almost half had mixed parenting styles, 11 respondents (44%) almost half had good social development. Statistical test results obtained value = 0.004 = 0.05 which means Ha was accepted. Conclusion: Parenting that was appropriate for the child's growth and development will affected the child's social development.]]>
