Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Umur, Riwayat Keluarga, Diet garam, Konsumsi Kopi, Aktivitas   fisikBackground: Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy affect up to 8% of all gestations and are the second leading cause, after embolism, of maternal deaths in the United States, accounting for nearly 15% of these deaths. Pregnant women with hypertension are more likely to develop potentially lethal complications, particularly abruptio placentae, disseminated intravascular coagulation, cerebral hemorrhage, liver failure, and acute renal failure. Objective: This study aims to determine the risk factors associated with the incidence of hypertension in pregnant women at BPM Desita, S.SiT, Pulo Ara Village, Juang City District, Bireuen Regency. Methode: The research design used is an analytical survey research with a case control approach. This research was conducted at BPM Desita, S.SiT Pulo Ara Village, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency. The population in this study were all pregnant women who were divided into 2 parts, namely cases or those exposed to hypertension (using secondary data from 2021 to 2022), while the controls were not exposed to hypertension as many as 30 people who were obtained at the time of the study in 2022. The overall sample was 15 people. 60 respondents. Data collection techniques used primary and secondary data and processed into univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: The results showed that there was a relationship between risk factors for age (p 0.027 and OR 8.000), family history (p 0.023 and OR 103), dietary salt (p 0.017 and OR 16.000), coffee drinking habits (p 0.035 and OR 12.250) with the incidence of hypertension in pregnancy. While the physical activity variable has no relationship with the incidence of hypertension (p value 0.390 and OR 308). Conclusion: to increase the knowledge of respondents so that they want to play an active role in maintaining health so that pregnant women are far from the incidence of hypertension by maintaining diet, resting patterns, and exercising. Keywords   : Hypertension, Age, Family History, Salt Diet, Coffee Consumption, Physical Activity
