<![CDATA[This article aims to describe the innovations in the development of economic learning curriculum in Senior High School based on theoretical reviews. The research used library research method, which examined various library resources related to curriculum development and compiled systematically. The results showed that curriculum innovation is important for economic learning in Senior High School to adjust the progress of time. During this time students are only taught theories about the economy without being connected with the events that exist in real life. There are four curriculum innovation strategies, facilitative strategies, educative strategies, persuasive strategies and coercive strategies. Furthermore, there are five things needed to be considered in the application of curriculum innovation, there are clearly formulated with a strong foundation, participatory curriculum development methods, any alternative options to facilitate the application of innovation, using of real data and information regarding the conditions and situation of educational institutions.]]>
