<![CDATA[ABSTRAK : SMK Gajah Tunggal Kota Metro merupakan salah satu sekolah di Metro yang memanfaatkan media sosial dan website dalam penyebaran informasi. Meskipun begitu, hasil wawancara dengan dengan Guru SMK Gajah Tunggal Kota Metro yaitu Bapak Andre Rusdiono A.Md selaku kepala jurusan Teknik Komputer Jaringan menyatakan bahwa informasi yang disediakan dalam website tersebut belum lengkap dan tidak up-to-date. Informasi seperti pendaftaran siswa baru disebarkan melalui Instagram dan Facebook serta untuk pengumuman penerimaan siswa baru masih dilakukan dengan ditempel dipapan pengumuman. Dalam hal ini, penulis merancang sistem informasi berbasis Website menggunakan framework Laravel dengan metode pengembangan yaitu SDLC (System Developpment Lift Cycle) dan teknik pengujian yaitu teknik Black Box Testing. Pengembangan ini dilakukan untuk membantu staff dalam pengelolaan data sekolah serta menjangkau masyarakat lebih luas dalam kegiatan promosi sekolah. Kata Kunci: Website, SDLC, Black Box Testing ABSTRACT : Vocational High School of Gajah Tunggal Metro City is one of the schools located in Metro that utilizes social media and websites in sharing information. Nevertheless, the results of an interview with a teacher at Vocational High School of Gajah Tunggal Metro City, Mr. Andre Rusdiono A.Md as the head of the Computer Network Engineering department stated that the information provided on the website was incomplete and not up-to-date. Information such as new student registration was shared through Instagram and Facebook as well as announcements for new student admissions were still shared by posting them on the bulletin board.
