<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the interest of Palembang 3 SDN students in soccer and what factors influence this interest in soccer. The subjects of this study were 5th-grade students at SDN 33 Palembang in two sample classes with a total of 60 students. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research using survey methods. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Based on the data obtained, it shows that students' interest is in a fairly high category with a percentage of 69.1%. Several factors influence this interest, including motivation and aspirations, attitudes toward teachers and lessons, family support, facilities, and the mass media. Researchers suggest that further research be carried out regarding students' interest in sports in other physical education subjects, as well as follow-up in an effort to maximize student interest in physical education subjects.]]>
