This study aims to improve students' problem solving skills. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research by applying the Problem Based Learning model based on Lesson Study as an effort to improve students' problem solving skills. This research was applied with 1 cycle consisting of two meetings. The results showed that LS-based PBL learning could improve students' problem-solving skills, from 30% during observation to 93%. Data value of students' problem solving skills averaged 80.07. This achievement has met the KKM of the Sebelas Maret University, which is 55.00. Based on these results, learning using LS-based PBL can improve students' problem-solving skills.
