This research aims to control the stability of the manufacturing process part body car. Product problems do not meet standards due to unstable welding process. This is evidenced by the dimensional check point having a Cpk value < 1.33. The root of the problem is the process of repairing component production tool spart not up to standard. Improvements that have been made to the process welding namely setting the cup tip regularly, adding a gun guide. Apart from that do predictive maintenance is indispensable. While repairs on stamping press, namely setting stamping machine parameters and conducting 3D simulations before manufacturing.The improvements that have been made by the company show an increase in process stability. There are 7 stable inspection points (Cpk > 1.33) and 1 unstable inspection point (Cpk < 1.33). Process monitoring process i.e. process inspection at the beginning, middle, end. In addition to updating the Cpk value, updating the checksheet data maintenance. The preventive maintenance necessary to maintain stable engine performance.
