<![CDATA[Abstrak Sindrom Asperger adalah sebuah kelainan yang menunjukan keunikan perilaku, cara berpikir, danberkomunikasi. Mereka memiliki kesulitan dalam melakukan komunikasi, membaca bahasa tubuh, sulit untukmemahami emosi dan juga mengungkapkan emosi, permasalahan ini akan mengganggu dalam kehidupanpenyandang Asperger apabila tidak ditanggulangi sejak dini. Penanggulangan yan dapat dilakukan adalah berupaterapi, terapi yang dilakukan guna memperbaiki dan mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi adalah berupaterapi wicara. Dengan seiringnya perkembangan teknologi yang ada bermunculan teknologi yang dapatmembantu aktivitas terapi wicara yang dilakukan, akan tetapi masih sedikitnya teknologi yang dikembangkankhusus untuk mendampingi aktivitas terapi wicara menjadi perhatian utama, apakah proses pengembanganteknologi untuk penyandang Sindrom Asperger dan terapi wicara memiliki kendala, ataukah metodepengembangan teknologi yang digunakan masih belum sesuai, Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangansistem pembelajaran Bahasa ekspresif untuk digunakan terapis wicara terhadap penyandang sindrom Aspergersaat aktivitas terapi dilakukan, pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) yaitumetode pengembangan dimana pengguna utama dari sistem adalah pusat dari proses pengembangan, metode inimenempatkan kebutuhan dan evaluasi pengguna di posisi yang sangat penting. Peneliti bertujuan untukmenganalisis apakah metode UCD merupakan metode yang tepat digunakan dan juga melihat faktor Usabilitynya pada pengguna terapis dan penyandang Sindrom Asperger. Hasil yang dicapai adalah berupa prototypesistem/aplikasi pembelajaran bahasa ekspresif yang dapat digunakan terapis wicara kepada penyandang sindromAsperger, setelah di evaluasi memiliki hasil kriteria usability yang bagus dan dapat membantu aktivitas terapissaat terapi dilakukan Kata kunci: Sindrom Asperger, User Centered Design, UsabilityAbstractAsperger's Syndrome is a disorder that shows the uniqueness of behavior, ways of thinking, and communicating.
