<![CDATA[This paper discusses about the rule of libraries in the development of science with analysis history of Islamic education. This paper examines the literatur-literature according to problems discussed. Library is the result of cultural and travel records of mankind. Scienceis knowledge gained through scientific method. Science progress can not be separated from the library. Library system according to islamic scholar before not only a place to read, discuss, and explore, but also a place to learn berkhalaqah like in a mosque. The library is in the travel way by the ancients to broadcast science. Library entered one of the institution in the history of education and teaching of Islamic education.
