PELAKSANAAN HANDS HYGIENE PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR DI SD SWASTA LAKSMANA MARTA DINATA

Abstract

Clean and healthy living is something that should be applied in everyday life by the community as a way to maintain their health. The problem that often arises in the lack of implementing the PHBS program is among elementary school-age children. Considering that school-age children are children who are prone to disease. The purpose of hand hygiene activities is to increase the level of knowledge of elementary school students in order to maintain the level of health in students. This activity was held on July 12, 2022 with 22 elementary school students participating at Laksamana Marta Dinata Private Elementary School. The results of activities in the implementation of hand hygiene found that pretest scores with values ranging from 0-40 were 15 students (68%), scores ranging from 41-80 were 8 students (38%). While the posttest scores obtained scores ranging from 41-80 as many as 9 students (41%), and scores ranging from 81-100 as many as 13 students (59%). Based on the results of the activities carried out, there is an increase in student knowledge in carrying out hand hygiene properly and correctly.
