<![CDATA[The research objective is to describe operational management theory in the production process within a company. Qualitative research methods with a literature study approach with a development theory approach from Richar L. Darft on Operational Management and Jay Heizer & Barry Render on production. Data collection techniques with documentation studies. Data processing techniques with reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity technique with source triangulation. The results showed (1) operational management is the process of managing and utilizing resources for the benefit of the company's work services. (2) production is the process of producing goods or services. (3) Operational management of production is a way of utilizing the resources owned to produce products of value to the company, through the following activities: planning production, planning materials and product manufacturing processes; organizing the production process, by dividing equipment, materials and labor; directing the production process, making work SOPs and product quality; and control of production processes, by increasing work and production output]]>
