<![CDATA[Heavy equipment has an important role in construction projects to simplify work and reduce the time needed, one of which is the tower crane. Tower cranes are used to facilitate the transportation of materials vertically and horizontally. Each tower crane has a different capacity. Therefore, wise consideration is needed in determining the type of tower crane. The purpose of this study was to analyze the productivity and optimization of tower cranes in Building Construction Projects in Malang City using the Potindo MD-559 type tower crane, the tower crane was chosen because it has large productivity specifications and is relatively cheap in terms of rental costs. So in this study we want to prove whether the selected Potain MD 559 tower crane is more effective and efficient or not. Based on productivity calculations, the Potindo MD-559 tower crane. has a productivity value of 2,273.13 Kg/hour, and based on a cost analysis for the Potaindo MD-559 tower crane of IDR 660,435.00/hour.]]>
