This study aims to collect, assess, and synthesize information from relevant journals about the use of expert systems in detecting motorcycle engine damage. The literature review (SLR) method is used to obtain objective and accountable results. The SLR results show that an expert system in diagnosing motorcycle engine damage can produce solutions based on the information provided. However, no expert system is perfect and further development is needed to improve system performance and reliability. Factors that influence the successful use of expert systems include the quality of knowledge about motorcycle engine damage. The use of expert systems shows great potential in providing fast and accurate responses to user problems, but further research and development is needed to improve the quality and performance of these expert systems.
