Analisis Potensi Kecelakaan dan Penyakit Akibat Kerja pada Bagian Mesin Molding dengan Metode Hazard and Probability Study (HAZOP) di PT. XYZ

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing elastomer switches with a molding machine as one of the machines in the production process at the company. Based on field observations, many workers are not prioritizing work safety by disobeying work procedures in the molding machine section, in which there are work activities that have the potential to cause work accidents, including operating molding machines, dry ice molding machines, moving molds, washing chemicals molds and repairing molds. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive data analysis techniques using the Hazard and Operabilty (HAZOP) method. Based on the results of observations and interviews with employees including operators, operator leaders and the Committee for Occupational Safety and Health, that there are a total of 44 potential or occupational hazard risks and are related to every job in the molding machine section, with a description of the high risk of 41% or 18 risk, moderate risk of 52% or 23 risk, and low risk of 7% or 3 risk. From the results of the identification of the risk assessment, it shows that there are still dangerous risks for workers with a high level of 41%, which means that control and corrective actions must be taken so that the work risk will not become a work accident in every activity or work on the molding machine.  PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang manufacturing elastomer switch dengan mesin molding sebagai salah satu mesin dalam proses produksi di perusahaan tersebut. Berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan, banyak para pekerja yang kurang dalam mengutamakan keselamatan kerja dengan tidak menaati prosedur kerja di bagian mesin molding yang di dalamnya terdapat aktivitas kerja yang berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja meliputi kegiatan pengoperasian mesin molding, dry ice mesin molding, pemindahan mold, washing chemical mold dan repairing mold. Analisa data dilakukan dengan teknik analisa data secara deskriptif dengan metode Hazard and Operabilty (HAZOP). Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara terhadap karyawan yang meliputi operator, leader operator dan Panitia Pembina Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja, bahwa terdapat jumlah potensi atau risiko bahaya kerja terdapat 44 risiko dan berkaitan pada setiap pekerjaan di bagian mesin molding, dengan uraian yaitu, risiko tinggi sebesar 41% atau 18 risiko, risiko sedang sebesar 52% atau 23 risiko, dan risiko rendah sebesar 7% atau 3 risiko. Dari hasil identifikasi penilaian risiko tersebut menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat risiko-risiko membahayakan bagi para pekerja dengan level yang tinggi sebesar 41% yang berarti harus dilakukan tindakan pengendalian dan perbaikan agar risiko kerja tersebut tidak akan menjadi kecelakaan kerja di setiap kegiatan atau pekerjaan pada bagian mesin molding.
