Abstract

Intisari — Pengiriman data dari mikrokontroler menuju komputer server dapat dilakukan secara wireless. Pengiriman data pada penelitian ini menggunakan modul ESP8266. Modul tersebut memiliki beberapa keunggulan seperti harga yang murah dan firmware yang dapat dikembangkan. Terdapat beberapa metode dalam pengiriman data tersebut. Penelitian ini menerapkan tiga metode yaitu dengan menggunakan AT-Command, Protokol SLIP dan NodeMCU. Pengujian dilakukan dengan cara mengirimkan data secara sistematis menuju komputer server. Kemudian data tersebut dianalisa sehingga dapat dihitung  kecepatan transfer data dan kehandalan sistem. Kata kunci – ESP8266, AT-Command, Protokol SLIP, NodeMCU Abstract – Data transmission from the microcontroller to the server computer is able to do wirelessly. The data transmission in this research utilizes ESP8266 module. The module owns several advantages including low prices and firmware which can could be developed. There are several methods in the transmission of data. This research applies three methods by using AT-Command, SLIP Protocol, and NodeMCU. Data collection is performed by systematically transmitting the data to the server computer. The data are analyzed to calculate the speed of the data transfer and the reliability of the system.Keyword – ESP8266, AT-Command, SLIP protocol, NodeMCU
