A corn Sheller Machine is a tool used to shell corn that has been dried to a moisture content of approximately 18% which is ready to be used as animal feed or for resale. In carrying out corn harvesting activities, home-scale corn farmers work on corn shelling using manual or traditional tools such as shelling by hand or simple tools (screwdrivers). Shelling in this way will require a lot of manpower, time, and small production capacity. Mechanical corn shelling is done by using a corn sheller machine. Sheller machines on the market use manual power. Shelling in this way will require a lot of energy and if the operation method is not correct and the moisture content of the shelled corn is not suitable, it will affect the viability of shelled corn kernels. This study aims to develop the design and application of a portable corn sheller tool with the help of a gasoline-fueled motor. In this case, researchers can find out how the tool works and find out the results of the corn sheller according to the level of the existing dry corn dose. The tools and materials used are very easy to obtain and can be given easy maintenance every month. It is hoped that this tool can help farmers work in terms of processing dry corn so that it can be worth the rupiah, keep the environment clean, and can maximize the potential of corn every year the annual harvest takes place.
