This study aims to find out how the application of the wafa method in RA Insan Mulia Yogyakarta, this research uses a descriptive qualitative method. In the data collection techniques used, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the wafa method used used the 5P technique which includes Opening, Experience, Teaching, Assessment, and Closing. Through this application, the material memorized in semester 1 is the letters An-Naba, An-Nazi'at and Abasa. From the results of research, the wafa method is quite effective for early childhood, as evidenced by the increase and penchant for children in learning the Qur'an, but there are still children who have not shown improvement.
