<![CDATA[This research aimed to determine the effect of PAI teachers' pedagogic competence on students' learning motivation. The population and sample of this research were 30 students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Banggai. This research used a quantitative methodology. The data collection used a questionnaire method in the form of a Likert scale. Analysis of the data used was hypothesis testing using the moment product correlation formula with a significant level of 5%. The results showed that PAI teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Banggai had a high level of pedagogic competence at 90%, while the learning motivation of class XI science students was in the high category at 97%. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that there was a significant influence between the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers and students' learning motivation. This showed that r arithmetic was greater (r_count = 0.609 > r_table = 0.361) at a significance level of 5%. Based on this test, Ho was accepted and Ha was rejected, meaning that there was an influence of PAI teacher pedagogic competence on students' learning motivation.]]>
