The Common Law legal system has had a significant influence on the development of legal systems in various countries, including Indonesia. This article reviews the impact that the Common Law legal system has on the Indonesian legal system. This analysis includes changes that have occurred in the structure, principles and practice of law in Indonesia as a result of interactions with the Common Law legal system. Apart from that, it also highlighted the adaptations and adjustments made by Indonesia in facing the challenges and opportunities that emerged as a result of accepting elements of the Common Law. This research aims to provide a deeper understanding of how the Common Law legal system influences the development of the legal system in Indonesia.
