This research compares the formation of a reserve component with conscription in South Korea as a strategy to strengthen national defense. This analysis explores the differences and similarities between the two systems in the context of state security, as well as their implications for national defense effectiveness. This comparison involves an evaluation of the structure, training, and community involvement in the two systems. Through an in-depth understanding of these differences and similarities, this research aims to provide better insight into effective practices in strengthening national defense.
