PEMANFAATAN RAWA PENING SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR GEOGRAFI DENGAN PENDEKATAN SCIENTIFIC UNTUK KELAS X IPS SMA N 1 AMBARAWA

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran geografi dengan memanfaatkan Rawa Pening sebagai sumber belajar berbasis Scientific; (2) Bagaimana hasil belajar geografi peserta didik dengan memanfaatkan Rawa Pening sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan:  (1) Untuk mengetahui pembelajaran geografi dengan memanfaatkan Rawa Pening sebagai sumber belajar berbasis Scientific; (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar geografi peserta didik dengan memanfaatkan Rawa Pening sebagai sumber belajar berbasis Scientific. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan desain quasi eksperimen . Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X IPS SMA N 1 Ambarawa. Untuk pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh keterangan kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rat post test = 84,23, kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata post test = 75,98. Kelompok eksperimen mendapatkan nilai rata-rata lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol. Tingkat keaktifan siswa tinggi dalam pembelajaran, ini terlihat dari hasil perhitungan observasi aktifitas siswa pada kategori Sangat Baik dengan persentase 85,09%. The problems studied in this research are: (1) How does the implementation of geography-learning by using Rawa Pening as a learning resource with Scientific-based; (2) How does geography student learning outcomes by utilizing Rawa Pening as a learning resource. This study aims to: (1) To determine the geography-learning by using Rawa Pening as Scientific-based learning resources; (2) To know the geography-student learning outcomes by utilizing Rawa Pening as Scientific-based learning resources. This study was an experimental study with quasi-experimental design (pre Experimental Design). The population in this study were all students of class X IPS SMA N 1 Ambarawa. For sampling with purposive sampling technique, and then determined the two classes of class X IPS 3 as control-class learning process  use source and visual media in the classroom and X IPS 4 as an experimental class that utilizes Rawa Pening as a Geography learning resource by Scientific approach. The results were obtained information of experimental-class post-test average =84,23, control-class scored post-test average =75,98. The experimental-group scored higher on average than the control-group. Students activity in learning are high, it seems from the results of the calculation of the student observed-activity in the excellent category with the percentage of 85.09%.
