<![CDATA[The objectives of this research are to know (1) parents interest, (2) Sewing achievement, (3) the influence of parents’ interest to the sewing achievement. The type of the research is ex-post facto. The samples are taken by proportional random sampling. Data are collected by questionair and documentation. The data is analized by descriptive analysis and product moment correlation examination begun by pre-requisite analysis. The results: parents’ interest is categorized high (93%) and the sewing achievement is fair (41.6%). Based on correlation test, the result of rxy 0.454 >  r tabel 0.195. It means that there is positive and significant influence between parents’ interest variable and the sewing achievement. The value is supooted by coefficient determinant 0.206, meaning that the contributionis 20.6%. ]]>
