<![CDATA[In the globalization era, farmers should have strong independence and competitiveness.They have to be able to manage their agribusiness to ensure product quality andsustainable agribusiness. This study aimed to analyze factors related to farmerindependence in decision making on sustainable agribusiness in Sukaharja Village, BogorRegency. This study was conducted in Sukaharja Village, Bogor Regency, West JavaProvince from November to December 2013. The approach used in this study wasdescriptive-correlational. The research population consisted of 67 farmers, while the datacollection was conducted on census basis from the 67 farmers. The hypothesis was carriedout using analysis of Rank Spearman correlation test. The study result showed that theimportant factors to which attention should be paid in an effort to improve theindependence level of the farmers in Sukaharja Village, Bogor Regency in decision makingfor their agribusiness success were being active in searching for agribusiness-relatedinformation and encouraging interaction with the extension officers.]]>
