<![CDATA[Based on the results of the research conducted, the average value of class X (variable x) is 79.00 (good) and the average (variable y) is 82.00 (good). Eleventh grade students (variable x) is 81.00 (good) and average (variable x) is 83.00 (good). Twelvth grade students (variable x) is 83.00, (good) and the average value (variable x) is 83.00 with (good). The results of the hypothesis test proposed "there was a positive and close relationship understanding the vocabulary in the ability to write speech texts" was approved. It could be seen in the table of calculation results of class X showing r count r table or 0.577 0.005, the value of determination coefficient (R Square) is 0.577, it means (variable Y) has a contribution of 57.7% (variable X). Twelvth graders shows r count r table or 0.655 0.005, the value of determination coefficient (R Square) is 0.655 it means (variable X) has a contribution of 65.5% to (variable Y).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh nilai rerata siswa kelas X (variabel x) sebesar 79,00 (baik) dan rerata (variabel y) sebesar 82,00 (baik). Siswa kelas XI (variabel x) sebesar 81,00 (baik) dan rerata (variabel x) sebesar 83,00 (baik). Siswa kelas XII (variabel x) sebesar 83,00, (baik) dan nilai rerata (variabel x) sebesar 83,00 dengan (baik). Hasil uji hipotesis yang diajukan “ada hubungan yang positif dan erat memahami kosakata dalam kemampuan menulis teks pidato” teruji. Hal ini terlihat dalam tabel hasil penghitungan kelas X menunjukkan r hitung r tabel atau 0,577 0,005, nilai koefesien determinasi (R Square) adalah 0,577 hal ini berarti (variabel Y) memiliki kontribusi 57,7% terhadap (variabel X). Kelas XII menunjukkan r hitung r tabel atau 0,655 0,005, nilai koefesien determinasi (R Square) adalah 0,655 hal ini berarti (variabel X) memiliki kontribusi 65,5% terhadap (variabel Y).Kata kunci: kosakata, pidato, kemampuan, korelasi.]]>
