<![CDATA[Diabetes Melitus (DM) tipe II disebabkan oleh peningkatan kadar gula darah akibat kekurangan insulin baik mutlak maupun relatif. Diit masih merupakan pengobatan utama pada penatalaksanaan diabetes. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah adakah hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan keikutsertaan penyuluhan gizi dengan perilaku diit  pasien DM tipe II. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan studi belah lintang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah pasien DM tipe II di Klinik DM RSJ. Prof. dr. Soe-royo Magelang tahun 2010 sebanyak 63 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, lembar pencatatan, profil rumah sakit dan data pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan keikutsertaan penyuluhan gizi  dengan perilaku diit pasien DM tipe II. AbstractDiabetes mellitus (DM) type II is caused by increased blood sugar levels due to insulin deficiency both either absolute or relative terms. Problems in this study are a relationship between the level of knowledge, attitude and participation of nutrition counseling with behavioral diit type II diabetic patients. This type of research is a survey of analytic approach of cross sectional study. The study samples are of type II diabetic patients in psychiatric hospital DM clinic. Prof. dr. Soeroyo Magelang in 2010 amount of 63 respondents. The instruments used are a questionnaire, recording sheets, profiles of hospital and patient data.
