Abstract

Social class and income influence consumer purchase behaviour. This study aims to determine the relationship and difference between social class and income by purchasing consumer goods and services in Malang. This research used a quantitative survey ex-post-facto method. Research respondents were classified based on their level of income and social class using the Index of Social Position (ISP). The questionnaire contains 18 items of purchase, grouped into 5 types namely: food and drink, clothing, durable goods, investment, services and other products. The data analysis technique used chi-square. The results of the analysis show that social class is associated with the purchase of 17 items, while income is associated with all items of goods and services consumed. Social class is more associated with fast food, clothes, electronic equipment, price and amount of investment and finance; income is more associated with meat, milk, the type of vehicle used, ownership of electronic tools, type of investment and finance, and housing and other buildings.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence on the influence of profitability, tangibility asset, tax rate, firm growth and firm size in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014-2016. Tests using SPSS 24.0 and purposive sampling method. Data used in this study were 174 companies.The result of the t-test shows that profitability has a negative effect and is significant on debt policy, firm size has a positive influence and significant on debt policy while tangibility asset, tax rate, firm growth do not have significant influence to Debt policy, and the result of F test are profitability, tangibility asset, tax rate, firm growth and firm size are simultans influence on debt policy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of internal earning growth, annual data observation period 2012 until 2015. Type studies quantitative research. The population of all mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and consistently for four years amounted to 26 companies, with non-probability sampling technique is purposive sampling. Analysis data with panel data regression pooled the least square which has value adjusted r-squared 47.8% compared to other models. The results showed that the current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER) and net profit margin (NPM) simultaneously are having the significant influence on the earnings growth. Partially, two variables are the current ratio, debt to equity ratio does not affect earnings growth. Meanwhile, NPM has a negative and significant effect on earning growth. Suggested adding variables external factors, using a sample of companies with other industries.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was: 1) To analyze the brands of cooking oil that entered the class A classification using the ABC method, 2). To maximize safety stock that must be provided, and 3) determine the most Reorder Point for cooking oil products that enter in class A. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. Data collection uses observation, and interview studies. In data analysis techniques, the authors do it in three stages, namely the first stage of ABC analysis to identify products in class A, B, or C; the second stage calculates safety stock for cooking oil products that enter class A; and the third stage determines the size of the Reorder Point. Then taken the conclusion according to the purpose of research. The results of this research show that from 86 types of brands and packaging of cooking oil, there are 28 packs that belong to category A, with the highest safety stock calculation is on Sugarap brand oil of Reffil 2 Liter, and Reorder Point at most on brand oil of Rosebrand Packaging Reffil 1 liter.

Abstract

Investors in the capital market will generally invest in stocks that have high returns with minimal risk. In order to reduce the level of risk then the shares can be formed into a portfolio. The purpose of this study was to determine the shares of LQ 45 index members to form the optimal portfolio and to determine the proportion of each stock chosen and the level of return the analysis showed that using Single Index Model approach. Stocks member LQ 45 period every January 2012 to January 2016 ti establish an optimal portfolio is comprised of ASII with a proportion 80,39%, with the proportion of BBCA 0,006% , with the proportion of ICBP 5,07%, with the proportion of UNTR 5,06%, with the proportion of UNVR 9,42% and the rate of profit (expected return) portfolio amounted to 3,65% with a risk of 0,01%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how (1) the simultaneous influence inventory turnover, receivable turnover, and intellectual capital on the profitability of manufacturing companies in the period 2014-2016, (2) the partial influence of influence inventory turnover, receivable turnover, and intellectual capital variables on the profitability of manufacturing companies in the period 2014-2016. This research uses purposive sampling in taking data. The data collected will be analyzed using multiple linear analyses. The result of this research is (1) there is significant influence from inventory turnover variable to profitability, (2) there is no significant influence from receivable turnover variable to profitability, (3) there is positive significant influence from value added capital employedvariable to profitability, (4) there is positive significant influence from value added human capital variable to profitability, (5) there is positive significant influence from structural capital value added variable to profitability, (6) there is a significant effect of inventory turnover, receivable turnover,value added capital employed, value added human capital, and from structural capital value addedon profitability simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the recruitment process, selection process and employee competence on outsourced employee performance( in outsourcing Industries). Data was collected through questionnaires distributed and executed on 70 employees of outsourcing of commercial division, data analysis in this research using non-probability sampling technique and using saturation sampling where its data processing using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 23 program. The results of the analysis show that the Recruitment Process, Selection process and Competence have the positive and significant impact on Employee Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of earnings management, firm size, return on equity and dividend payoutratio on manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2014-2016.The sample was determined by purposive sampling method. The research conducted by taking 117 manufacturing companies. The result of this research showed that earnings management and firm size have no significant effect on dividend payoutratio, while return on equity and leverage have significant effect on dividend payoutratio.

Abstract

The development of increasingly complex consumer needs and increasingly sharp market competition causes HONDA must be able to compete to show the benefits of its products and grab the attention of the consumers, one way to do it is to create a new product class SUV Medium namely HONDA H-RV. Consumers who will take the decision in choosing HONDA H-RV will consider various things in buying. Considerations are influenced by product quality, price, and promotion. Analytical techniques using validity test, Reliability test, multiple linear regression, t test, F test with SPSS 23.0 tool. based on the results of statistical calculations with linear regression analysis can be shown by the regression equation Y = 1,956 + 0,462X1 + 0,239X2 + 0,256X3 + e from regression equation known that product quality, price, and promotion have positive influence to purchasing decision. The result of calculation coefficient of determination equal to 0,673, it shows that product quality, price, and promotion are able to explain purchase decision equal to 67,3%. While the remaining 32.7% is explained by other variables that are not observed. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is positive influence of product quality, price, and promotion to decision of purchase of HONDA H-RV and have strong correlation level, it means if product quality, price, and promotion is increased it will result in high purchase decision
