This study aims to compare the quality of packaged cooking oil A and B also bulk which have been produced before being marketed. This research is a quantitative approach that focuses on the analysis of Free Fatty Acid, Moisture & Impurities, Iodine Value, Peroxide Value, color, stability, cloud point and pelican oil on packaged cooking oil A and B also bulk. The results showed that the test parameter values for packaged cooking oil A and B also bulk were 0.064 %, 0.065 % and 0.068 % for FFA. M & I content were 0.040 %, 0.045 % and 0.046 %. 60,887; 59,034; and 57,416 g I2/100 mg oil were the IV values. The PV values were 0.098; 0.102; and 1,58 Mek O2/Kg. 1.9/46 Red/Yellow, 2.1/51 Red/Yellow, and 2.3/51 Red/Yellow are the color values. For stability, timers for 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and 1 minute. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to uncover the types of wild animals that serve as a source of animal protein for the Tehit Knasaimos ethnic group in Saifi District, South Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua Province. The descriptive method with survey techniques was used for this study. Data analysis was conducted using the UVs, ICF, and FL formulas. It was revealed that the utilization of wild animals as a source of animal protein is intended for self-consumption (subsistence), sale, traditional ceremonies, and religious events. The hunted wild animal species by the Tehit Knasaimos ethnic group amounted to 19 species, consisting of mammals (7 species), birds (5 species), reptiles (2 species), fish (1 species), and crustaceans (3 species). Wild boar (Sus scrofa) and dusky pademelon (Thylogale brunii) are the most extensively utilized wild animal species in the Tehit Knasaimos community (UVs = 0.22 - 0.61). The FL values in the four utilization categories by the Tehit Knasaimos ethnic group reveal that the most preferred wild animal species are wild boar (52.9% - 61.1%) and dusky pademelon (58.8% - 61.1%). The greater melampitta (Talegala jobiensis) is most preferred for ceremonial purposes (52.9%). The informants' information homogeneity is high to very high for self-consumption/subsistence utilization (ICF = 0.88 - 0.95), traditional purposes (ICF = 0.80 - 0.87), sale (ICF = 0.73 - 0.86), and religious purposes (ICF = 0.79 - 0.84). The long-beaked echidna (Zaglossus bruijnii) is an endemic New Guinea species that is protected due to its declining population in the wild.

Abstract

Rice is one of the important food commodities in Indonesia. The extensification of swamp land is expected to play a role in supporting the increase in national rice production. The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of promising strains of swamp rice produced by BB-Biogen breeding tolerant to Fe poisoning in the shallow swamp area of Sorong-Southwest Papua. The experiment used a randomized block design (RBD) with three replications and 17 genotypes as treatments. The observed characters include the growth and yield component characters. Data analysis included analysis of variance to find out the differences between each test lines and continued with the LSI test to obtain the expected lines that performed well and were superior in the Sorong lebak swamps. The results of the analysis of variance showed that there were significant differences in all the characters tested. The results showed that TT, JAT and JAP showed the best results including the G21 and G11 lines, the G7 line had the highest percentage of filled grain, the G6 line had the heaviest 1000 grain weight. While the G1 and G7 lines had the highest yields per plot equivalent to 6.15 and 5.92 t/ha,
