Abstain from food, either in types, amount or frequency, will bring negative impact to the fulfillment of mother during parturition period. Objective: the study aimed to get an overview of the nutrient fulfillment of mother during puerperium in relation to the implementation of Se’I culture among Timor tribe.Method: the study was qualitative that used phenomenological approach with mother during puerperium period of Timor tribe as subject of the study. Data were obtained through indepth interview, observation and food recall 24 hours. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman Model. Result: care that was carried out during the implementation of Se’I culture aimed to support the process of recovery and maintain the physical condition as it was before pregnancy. Abstract

The emergence of resistance of Plasmodium that infect humans against malaria eradication Artemisinin add to the difficulty. Therefore it is necessary to search for new antimalarial drugs derived from natural or synthetic materials other than the vaccine have not been successful.     The results of fractionation or isolation of the ethanol extract of bitter herbs (Andrographis paniculata Nees) and ethanol extracts obtained andrographolide compound which is the main active substance of bitter herbs belonging to the lactone.     Test antimalarial activity of ethanol extract and andrographolide compounds against Plasmodium falciparum in vitro studies suggest that and rographolide compound said to have anti-malarial activity as compared to active ethanol extract with IC50 values of 0.220 μg/ml.     Test the effect of andrographolide compounds bitter herbs (Andrographis paniculata Nees) on the development and morphology of the parasite stages of P. falciparum in vitro studies suggest that there are barriers to the development stage of the parasitic stage and schizont stage tropozoit be schizont stage into ring -stage parasites grow and cause an abnormal morphology.     The conclusion of this study is that the antimalarial herb bitter (Andrographis paniculata Nees) especially andrographolide compound said to have anti-malarial activity as in vitro , causing developmental delays or obstacles stage parasites grow and cause an abnormal morphology. Therefore antimalarial bitter herbs in this compound andrographolide potentially be used as an antimalarial drug that is new blood skizontisidal.

Abstract

Levels of Reactive Oxygen Species a high negative impact on sperm quality and lead to increased levels of malondialdehyde. To overcome this use of mangosteen peel extract as an antioxidant. This study using mice exposed to the compound 2-Methohyethanol for 5 days and then treated with mangosteen peel extract at a dose of 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg for 35 in the sub cutaneous, while the control group only exposed to 2 - Methoxyethanol. Analysis of quality motility, morphology, viability, membrane integrity), and levels of malondialdehyde spermatozoa using sperm derived from the cauda epididymis. The results showed a dose of 25 mg/kg body weight more effectively improve the speed of motility, normal morphology and viability of spermatozoa that had been exposed to 2-Methoxyethanol, a dose of 50 mg/kg increased sperm membrane integrity and reduce levels of malondialdehyde, whereas a dose of 100 mg/kg body weight and reduce sperm quality increased levels of malondialdehyde. The conclusion is mangosteen rind extract improve sperm quality and reduce levels of malondialdehyde mice that had been exposed to 2-Methoxyethanol.

The needed data is collcted by observing cooperatitive behavior of children before andf after giving the therapy. To know the different of childrens cooperative behavior before and after going the playing therapy, Wilcoxon test is used. Based on the Wilcoxon analysis, the cooperative level shows value of p = 0,000 (<0,005). Based on the result, it can be conluded that there is an impcict of playing medical instrument to ward the level cooperative level of children in pre – school (3 – 5 tahun) during the hospitalization in Childrens room RSUD Kefamenanu.

Abstract

Tofu and fish cesspool has contained an organic substance for microorganism growth in decomposing process of organic substances. The purpose of this research was to know the ability of tofu cesspool activators and fish cesspool activators in composting process.      The research type was pre-experiment research and used posttest only design. The independent variables are tofu cesspool activator and fish cesspool activator. Dependent variables are composting period time, temperature, pH, humidity, and C/N ratio. Data collected were measured result of parameter area, and laboratory test. The data was analyzed descriptively.      Research result indicated that in tofu cesspool activator treatment got pH, 6,9, temperature was 34,7á´¼C, humidity was 64,9% RH and C/N ratio was 13,83% and needed 12 days composting. For group of fish cesspool activator treatment got pH 7, temperature was 35,4á´¼C, humidity was 66,8%RH and C/N ratio was 17,5% and needed 14 days composting. Based on some literatures descripted best temperature was 25á´¼C-60á´¼C, and best Ph about 6.5-7.5, optimum humidity 40-60% RH, period time of composting was 2-3 weeks, and C/N best ratio was 10-20%.      Activator of tofu cesspool’s and fish cesspool’s can be used in composting process. It was suggested to community to use both activators in composting.
