Abstract

The purpose of this research aim to know the representation of historical event and historical fact in Tirani dan Benteng poem anthology by Taufiq Ismail. The background of the study was the researcher’s interest on poems by Taufiq Ismail which were anthology in Tirani and Benteng. The poems told about the historical events at the end of Soekarno era. This study used historical approach. The method used in this study was content analysis. The scope of the study was the analysis toward of the historical event representations and historical facts representation in the anthology. The focuses of this study were: (a) historical event representations, (b) artifact representations, (c) sociofact representation, and (d) mentifact representation. The results show that: (1) the event historical reprentations were: G30S/PKI event, collapse of Indonesian economic joint, event demonstration student in Tritura action causing to die Arief Rachman Hakim, (2) the artifact representations were: jacket covered with blod, rumpled banner, flag at half mast, weapon and steel bayonet, (3) sociofact representations were poverty and vertical as well as horizontal class conflicts, (4) mentifact representations were the spirit to defend truth and justice and the aspiration of the youths involved in Tritura action.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to describe comprehensively the increase in the Ability to Write Text Fabel with Portfolio Based Learning to Students of Class  VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pondok Kelapa Bengkulu Tengah. The method used is classroom action research. Sources of data obtained through eighth grade students worksheet F. Data collection techniques in this study is the testing techniques and nontes (observation, journals, and interviews). This research was conducted in three cycles. First cycle consisted of 2 meetings, the second cycle consists of two sessions, and the third cycle comprises one meetings. The test results of this study indicate that an increased ability to write text fable in students. The average value of the class in the first cycle of 63.6 (enough) with a passing rate of 27%, increased in the second cycle with an average of 70 (good) with a passing rate of 56.7%. Then increased again in the third cycle, which amounted to 76 (excellent) with a passing rate reached 86.7%.

Abstract

                The purpose of this study was to describe the structure of the rhetoric of the introductory part of the research journal articles in Indonesian language. Linguistic features the introduction Indonesian language research journal articles in the field of medical science and health. This research uses descriptive method. Source of this research are 50 articles while the data in the form of research journal articles in the field of medical science and health. Data collection techniques are documents such as speech writer in the text of the discourse, data analysis techniques to read and memberian code of the article, the findings of this study analyzed the structure of rhetoric uses the theory of MMP which consists of 4 stages and 18 steps, while the feature linguistics is defined as the use of the type or variety text associated with active and passive sentences, types of clauses, conjunctions / circuit. The research result rhetorical structure analysis introductory part AJP in the field of medicine and health, such as the use of the stages and steps are found or used in a rhetorical structure AJP field of medical science and health with the result that most of the stages of T-2 to justify the research topic. While the use measures in stages in the field of medicine and health: (1) step T2-LC merefiu related literature, (2) a step T1-LD describe lok ation of geographic research, (3) a step T4-LA explain the purpose of the study, which the last (fourth) step T3-LD expressed interested in examining the issue. Furthermore, linguistic features found in the introductory part of AJP in the field of medical science and health, among others: (1) active and passive sentences, (2) coordination, (3) the subordinate attributes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud pragmatik kesantunan imperatif dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pondok Kelapa Bengkulu Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian deksripsi kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data verbal tersebut berupa tuturan dalam interaksi siswa dengan siswa, maupun siswa dengan guru di lingkungan kelas VIII SMP Negeri Pondok Kelapa Bengkulu Tengah. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, rekamanan, dan pencatatan. Penganalisisan data dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu dengan (1) transkripsi data, (2) pengkodean data, (3) pengidentifikasian data, (4) pengklasifikasian data, (5) interpretasi data, dan (6) tahap penyimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengenai wujud pragmatik kesantunan imperatif dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pondok Kelapa Bengkulu Tengah terdiri dari sembilan tuturan yang mengandung makna pragmatik imperatif yang terdiri dari perintah, permintaan, desakan, persilaan, ajakan, permintaan izin, mengizinkan, larangan, dan ngelulu. Makna mperatif tersebut ditandai dengan wujud kesantunan dalam bentuk tuturan imperatif perintah menggunakan partikel –lah, -kan, tuturan mperatif permintaan menggunakan kalimat tolong, tuturan imperatif desakan menggunakan tuturan yang dituturkan secara berulang-ulang, tuturan imperatif persilaan bentuk tuturannya adalah silakan, ya, tuturan imperatif ajakan menggunakan kalimat ayo!, tuturan imperatif mengizinkan bentuk tuturannya adalah baiklah, iya.,  tuturan imperatif larangan menggunakan kalimat jangan, dan tuturan imperatif ngelulu bentuk tuturannya adalah mengucapkan kata teruslah namun sebenarnya makna yang dimaksud yaitu untuk berhenti.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam novel Ayah Mengapa Aku Berbeda? karya Agnes Danovar dengan menggunakan pendekatan strukturalisme, data penelitian berupa kata, frase, kalimat dan peristiwa-peristiwa berupa rangkaian cerita yang mengandung ide tertentu dalam novel. Dengan menggunakan metode formal yaitu analisis dengan mempertimbangkan, aspek-aspek bentuk, yang terdapat dalam karya sastra. Metode ini tidak bisa dilepaskan dengan teori strukturalisme. Analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif karena pada penelitian ini berusaha menganalisis dokumen untuk diketahui isi dan makna yang terkandung dalam dokumen tersebut yaitu dengan cara membaca semua isi buku secara berulang-ulang untuk mengetahui bagaimana tokoh dalam cerita, tindakan yang dilakukan oleh tokoh dan peristiwa peristiwa yang ada selanjutnya menemukan rangkaian-rangkaian kalimat yang mengandung pendidikan karakter apa saja dalam novel tersebut. Dari hasil analisis ditemukan rangkaian peristiwa yang terjadi adalah penderitaan seorang gadis tuna rungu yang menjalani hidupnya dengan penuh semangat, kesabaran, kerja keras dan kekurangan dalam dirinya bukanlah suatu rintangan untuk mencapai cita-cita dan berbakti pada orang tua. Kesimpulan dari penelitian dalam novel tersebut mengandung pendidikan karakter religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab.

Abstract

The purpose of the study to explain the interest in reading, the ability to write a text to speech. In this study was text reading and writing text to speech ability tests, the reseach method used is descriptive correlational method that consist of two variables. The population of this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 7 Kota Lubuklinggau academic year 2015/2016. This sample is the total sample as the sample is less than 100. Tecnik date collection used in this study is a questionnaire tests for reading and wrting text to speech ability test in reseach interest in reading the average student belonging to the category of very happy to read (3,76) and the ability to write text to speech average belong to the category good (76,77) based on the result of test analysis obtained correlation r = 0,4293 count greater than r table = 0,364 Ha than H0 resected and accepted. So that it can be concluded that the relationship small (low) between interest in reading with the ability two write text to speech or students in the classroom X SMA Negeri 7 Kota Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

This research is aimed to obtain a descriptive about Analysis of Various Students’ Language of Class X H SMA Negeri 2 Bengkulu City Used in Their Facebook of the this research is about how the theme of students’ sentences status in their Facebook are, what kind of language and non-language characteristic s of their sentences status in Facebook of students class X H are the research. The data that are collected use purposive sampling technic by taking the samples from sentence status of the students’ Facebook accounts which have been collected. The technics used in data analysis are : (1) data collecting, data presenting, (2) conclusion or verification in document. The research findings are guile diverse themes that emerge, but in a sense more positive tone expression (91,6%) consisting of : interaction, special interaction, expression activity, adage, expression of feeling, expression of feelings provoke cancern, the phrase specifically, and information. While the expression of negative feelings (8,3%). Likewise, the original identity (the original name of the account status) consists of 19 students with a percentage (79,1%) and the remaining 5 students with a pseudonym identity (account status pseudonym) by percentage (20,8%). Linguistic traits often arises is the use of regional languages, although there are also English-speaking. Non-linguistic traits characterized by the use of icons/symbols ( stiker’s or emotion) which describes the feeling.

Abstract

Effective speed reading has a very important role, because with the fast reading and reading comprehension ability of qualified person could master of science and technology. Indonesian reading habits unfavorable impact negatively on the level of legibility of a person or a student. To overcome this much needed effort and creativity of teachers. Klos in the application of the method of learning to read is one way to solve the problem. The research objective of this class action is to increase the Effective Speed Reading (KEM) using klos class XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 6 South Bengkulu This classroom action research takes place in SMA Negeri 6 South Bengkulu class XI IPA 2, the number of students 40 students. Implementation of the activities carried out through three cycles. Before the first cycle carried out the need for pre-action is the identification of methods klos and Effective Speed Reading (KEM), and then executed the first cycle as the application of methods klos, the second cycle as in implementation klos method, and the third cycle as the consolidation phase. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis that is used to qualitative data obtained from observations of students and teachers during learning in the classroom, and the quantitative analysis is used to test Effective Speed Reading (KEM) students using klos. The results of the study in the first cycle readability level is still low, due to the effective speeds average reading rate of 87 words per minute with 18% Independent, Instruktional rate of 38% and 44% in frustration. In the second cycle results of the study experienced a positive change that is effective speeds average reading rate of 150 words per minute with 78% Independent, Instructional rate of 18%, and the frustration level of 4%. The results of the study in the third cycle experienced stabilization which is the average Effective Speed Reading (KEM) 210 wpm with independent level of 100%. The result showed that the activity of learning to read faster by using klos can improve Effective Speed Reading (KEM) students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan kalimat efektif laporan praktik kerja industri kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Curup Timur. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah ketertarikan peneliti terhadap laporan praktik kerja industri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini berupa ujaran tulis siswa ketika menulis laporan praktik kerja industri siswa. Sumber data berupa bagian pendahuluan laporan praktik kerja industri. Teknik analisis data dianalisis dengan membaca laporan siswa, mengidentifikasi, memberi nomor, verifikasi, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian laporan praktik kerja industri siswa yang diteliti terdapat 64 buah penyimpangan kalimat efektif. aspek ketepatan yakni 28 buah data, kelogisan 18 buah data, kepaduan 8 buah data, kehematan 7 buah data, dan kesatuan 1 buah data. Data tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa laporan praktik kerja industri siswa, masalah kalimat efektif belum seluruhnya diterapkan dengan benar di laporan praktik kerja industri siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan data mengenai perencanaan dan proses pembelajaran drama di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survey dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas XI yang terdapat pada tiga sekolah yaitu pada SMA N 5, SMA N 6, dan SMA N 8 Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tiga siklus yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data atau penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data yang telah diambil. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan yang matang diperlukan agar pembelajaran berjalan efektif. Perencanaan pembelajaran tersebut dapat dibagi menjadi perencanaan Silabus dan RPP, perencanaan media pembelajaran drama, serta perencanaan siswa sebelum pembelajaran berlangsung. Sedangkan pada proses pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran yang ada pada SMA N 5 tergolong berhasil, sedangkan pada SMA N 6 dan SMA 8 proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan tidak sesuai dengan perencanaan pembelajaran yang sebelumnya telah di persiapkan.
