Abstract

Nasho Company is Nano-coating business based on chemicals. This business makes a product called "Nasho Self-cleaning liquid for Glasses" that give self-cleaning ability for glasses surface. This Company desires to do market expansion by putting the product in local optical stores in Bandung. Yet, the targeted that they already made need to be cross-checked.  On another hand, the productivity and efficiency of production in this Company are low due to order the material and produce the product only when demand comes. Production planning based on forecasting and inventory model is required for solving this problem. As a result, the Company could define market expansion target as well as material stocking. This research is using Structured Analogy Forecasting to define the forecast for new product and Fixed Order Interval with Safety Stock for material stocking. Mix method is used in this research to gain information and identify the product that would be a benchmark in forecasting technique that in line with Inventory Model analysis. As a result of Structured Analogy forecasting, the benchmark product is Expo lenses cleaner using the judgmental process with thematic analysis and Single Exponential Smoothing with ?= 1,92215 is applied with MAPE 6,42%, MAD= 59,68, and MSD= 5362,4, as well as demand in next year, would be 10631 bottles of lenses cleaner liquid. By 95% service level for Fixed Order Interval with Safety Stock, the Company would order; 14 l of Ethanol, 2,5 l Polydimethylsiloxane, 2 l of Isopropyl, 870 unit of the bottle, 13 boxes of wiper, 207 A3+ sheets of box, 25 A3+ sheets of the sticker, and 47 sheets of 1 m HVS of Instruction Paper in every 14 working days.Keywords:  Nano-coating, Self-cleaning for glasses, Structured Analogy Forecasting, Inventory Model, Mix Method.

Abstract

Sini is a start-up that run-in technology industry especially device tracker. In addition to device tracker, they also sell complementary products such as wallets, key chains and passport cases. The problem is the internal relationship in the company is less harmonious, so the members feel demotivated. They expressed demotivated because of the leader's actions. Therefore, the author analyzes the type of leadership style from Sini Company and what its effect is to member motivation. Author uses qualitative development methods namely phenomena and study cases from Sini Company. The method of data collection used by author is with leadership assessment, observation, interview and focus group discussion. From the assessment leadership style obtained result of autocratic leadership style. The autocratic leadership style is a style of leadership that is nudge controlling its members and less involving its members in an important matter such as decision making. To find out the relationship between leadership style and motivation of Sini Company members, author uses internal and external motivation framework. The internal factor consists of recognition, achievement, possibility to growth and advancement, and the work itself. For the external factor, consist of supervision, salary provided and company rules. From the factors, there will be find the factors that make the members demotivated.Keywords: autocratic, demotivated, external motivation, internal motivation, leadership style, start-up.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the big countries that consume energy and is under tremendous pressure to promote saving energy and reduce domestic energy consumption. A variety of intervention approaches have been studied to encourage energy-saving actions in order to minimize energy usage by performing energy saving. The research focused on the relative importance of socio-demographic variables and psychological variables in energy use and energy saving behavior. This research proposes a method that incorporates social-psychology to analyze determinants of energy saving behavior with an integrated MOA (motivation - opportunity - capacity) system. The proposed structure is expected to provide insight into strategy intervention and adoption of energy efficiency products that are in line with Indonesia's behavior energy use for successful energy saving measures to reduce overall energy consumption.Keywords: Energy consumption, Electricity saving behavior, Energy use characteristic, MOA model, Multiple Linear Regression

Abstract

Culture is regularly reenacted and generated by our experiences with others. Formed value of others, we think of that as "leadership" and are creating the conditions for new culture creation. Culture and leadership are two sides of the same coin in that leaders first initiate the sequence of culture formation when they create entities and organizations. Leadership may also be regarded as a critical factor in bringing about a profitable business for the company. However, a leadership style is usually used by a manager to fulfil their responsibilities and duties within the business and organization. The main purpose of this research is to determine how organizational culture can influence the leadership style, the relation of leadership style, the relationship between organizational culture and Z generation performance, and what type of leadership style may contribute to the performance of Z generation. After all, this has been established, and the aim is to find the best combination since these features in order to improve employee performance in general and especially in Z generation.
